Inspired Element 26" Bike

The Element 26" complete bike features a frame which is similar in design to the popular Element 24" frame and has been specified with a range of affordable but reliable components to help bring the responsive ride characteristics and quality construction of the Element frame to even more 26" riders.

The front of the frame features an externally butted and tapered headtube, with strength improved further by using external top and downtube gussets.

The Element 26" features a one-piece bottom bracket and chainstay yoke that has been designed to offer excellent clearance for both the tire and also the chainring. The one-piece design increases stiffness and strength at this important area and carefully designed pockets mean the weight has been reduced significantly.

The rear of the bike features exclusive-design seat and chainstay tubing to improve crank and heel clearance. The compact CNC machined dropouts and neat CNC gear hanger maintain the clean and stylish look of the frame, while improved weld angles and contact area help to maximize strength.

The Element features two brake mount options. A CNC machined disc mount which has been combined with an additional gusset to ensure the frame is tough enough for use with a rear disc brake (maximum rotor size 185mm). Alternatively, the CNC machined, low profile 4-Bolt rim brake mounts can be used.

The Element 26" is built with a range of Inspired, Trialtech and Truvativ products for a perfect blend of performance and price. The steering section of the bike consists of an exclusive Inspired aluminum rigid fork, Truvativ Hussefelt Comp riser handlebars and a Trialtech stem. Drivetrain components include Truvativ Hussefelt trials crankset, Wellgo platform pedals and a Sport sprung chain tensioner. Avid BB5 front disc brake and Magura HS33 rear brake or dual Avid BB5 brakes make for a simple yet highly effective brake system. For the wheels, the Element 26" features a pair of Inspired double wall rims built with super-smooth Trialtech sealed bearing disc hubs front and rear.
