Inspired Console 24" Bike 2014

The Inspired Console is an evolution of the coveted Arcade bike that has been designed to bring the unique handling and performance characteristics of their class leading steel bike to more riders.

The Console frame and fork are made from high quality Cr-moly and feature double-butted tubing to ensure maximum durability while keeping the weight as low as possible. The steel construction gives the bike a unique appearance and offers a different feel to Inspired's aluminum frames by providing a more yielding ride.

Short chainstays and 74° head angle give the bike a tight wheel base but a longer reach, meaning that the Console offers a similar riding position with responsive and nimble geometry that has made the Arcade so popular.

The Console's rear end has been designed to work perfectly with a 22:15 or 22:16 (fitted as standard) gear ratio, so they've been able to keep the horizontal dropouts as compact as possible and work perfectly with the custom CNC machined Cr-moly chain tugs.

Tapered fork legs help keep weight down, while the short 30mm offset combined with the steep head angle keeps the front wheel tucked in and helps with front wheel moves such as nose manuals, g-turns and bunnyhops to front wheel.

The Console is spec'd with a mix of top level Inspired parts, as fitted to the more expensive Arcade bike, along with proven Trialtech\SRAM components to give the best possible balance between performance and cost. Drive is provided by Inspired Arcade 3-piece steel cranks and one-piece CNC-machined bashring and sprocket, mounted on a Euro BB with tough external bearings. Double-wall Inspired Arcade rims are laced to a Trialtech sealed bearing front hub and 10mm bolted axle rear hub to keep the wheels secure. Avid hydraulic brakes front and rear take care of stopping duties. Steering is handled by custom Inspired Arcade High-Rise handlebars and a Trialtech Sport stem that spin on a custom-colored FSA Orbit Equipe headset. The bike is finished off with a tough Inspired Kevlar Pivotal seat and Inspired Pivotal seatpost.
