Co-Motion Cycles has built a reputation on constructing cleanly designed and elegantly executed tandem bicycles and road, touring, and cross bikes since 1988: Bicycles that serve a real purpose for cyclists who expect real performance without unnecessary hype.
Co-Motion tandems and single bikes are hand made in Eugene, Oregon, just a couple of hours from our shop here in Bend, OR.
From tandems to touring bikes, their approach to building bicycles draws from traditional elements, yet they’ve openly discarded anything that doesn’t serve the purpose of making a better bicycle. Their emphasis is on design, from the very tubing that your Co-Motion is made of, to the way every one of their bicycles interacts with the human body. Nowhere else will you find a greater degree of specialization in the materials used and the integration of new ideas into new bicycles. When new designs are called for, they work with some of the world’s top suppliers or fabricate whatever is needed in their extensive machine shop to make them a reality.
Co-Motion Cycles is driven by their innate passion to find and implement ways to make better bicycles. Guided by experience, research and the voices of their customers, Co-Motion has thoroughly engaged in the excitement of creating the next great bike: Yours.
We typically have a few Co-Motions in stock. Usually a couple of tandems and a couple of touring or road bikes like the Nor'wester and the Cascadia.
Most of our Co-Motion sales are full custom bikes, which typically take 6-10 weeks. We receive the bikes, build them up and make sure everything is as it should be, and then box them up and ship them off. For tandems, we make it especially easy for customers. Check out how we ship tandem bicycles!
